Our Story

Built to get things done.

Pokee AI was founded in 2024 by Zheqing (Bill) Zhu. After seven years at Meta, where he led the Applied Reinforcement Learning team and shipped RL systems across ads, recommendations and Reality Labs, and a Stanford PhD in reinforcement learning earned while working there full time, he left to chase a harder problem.

The observation was simple: professionals spend more time coordinating tools than doing actual work. Agents impressed in demos and failed in production, because real workflows demand planning across dozens of tools, not just conversation. So Pokee started with a single mission: automate every human workflow on the internet, with agents that handle the tool integration and the planning themselves.

That mission became PokeeClaw and Pokee-Isaac, agents that plan, act, verify and cite across 90+ tools, backed by a $12M seed round led by Point72 Ventures.
